- Located in Reservoir VIC (Northern Suburbs)
- 12 hour shifts on a rotating roster of Day and Night shifts (7am - 7pm & 7pm - 7am)
- Flat rate of $50.30ph (including casual loading)
Programmed are Currently seeking experienced machine operators / forklift drivers to join their client in Reservoir who manufacture pipes and conduit.
Successful applicants must have previous machine operating experience within a manufacturing environment as well as a current valid forklift (LF) licence with at least 6 months experience operating counterbalance forklifts.
Minimum experience / requirements:
- Must hold a current Valid LF forklift licence with at least 6 months experience driving counterbalance forklifts
- Must have previous machine operating experience within a manufacturing environment (extrusion machine operating experience highly favorable)
- Must pass a Medical Assessment and Drug & Alcohol test before commencing
- Must pass a Police check before commencing
- Must be available to work 12 hour shifts on a rotating roster (day and night shifts)
- Must be available to work every second weekend
- Must have full work rights long-term
- Must be physically fit, reliable, and available to commit to long-term work
Responsibilities and Duties involved:
- Operating Extrusion and cutting machines for the manufacturing of pipes and conduit
- Operating counterbalance forklifts to load/unload long lengths of pipe
- Building timber storage frames for pipes (use of hand and power tools including nail guns)
- packing crates using a plastic auto strapper and hammer
- Checking and recording pack weights
- General housekeeping, manual handling and quality checks
- The pay rate for this position is a flat rate of $50.30 per hour for both day and night shift (including casual loading and shift loading)
